You wake up with the best of intentions.

You ready your priority list.

But then, your focus gets hijacked. 🤬

That busy energy takes over and before you know it, it’s noon.

Very little that matters gets done, but you’re already feeling exhausted.

I tried for years to solve the priority-hijack problem by waking up early, no texts or email first thing, morning pages, etc, etc.

All those morning routine and productivity hacks helped but the attention snatchers still found a way to penetrate my defenses. And, to be completely transparent, I was complicit by having too many things on my list.

The breakthrough came when I started practicing “The 3-Hour Rule.”

It’s simple, I now do deep work the first 3 hours of every work day.
